 BIRDS IN STOCK These are the most popular breeds that we carry and are in stock 99% of the time. We recommend that you call for availability as we sell out of our on-hand stock from time to time. Finches Finches are small, beautiful, active birds that make great pets for someone who likes birds but doesn't have time for the social interaction that a parrot demands. These little birds need the company of other finches so plan on getting a pair, and you'll need a decent sized cage so they can fly.  Canaries The Canary is a small songbird which is a member of the finch family. In general these birds require the same care and maintenence as the Finches do. See the Finch description above for details.  American Singer (call for color varieties): Females $50.00, Gauranteed "Singing" male $79.95, Red male $89.95 Cockatiels Cockatiels are native to Austrialia. These birds were brought to England in the 1800's probably on the return trip from Australia which was a penal colony at the time. The bird's popularity increased and it is one of the most popular pet birds. Much of the popularity is due to the sweet nature of the bird and it's colorful head and crest.  Parakeets Parakeets belong to the parrot family. They are small to medium sized parrots with long, tapered tail feathers rather than the larger parrots with stockier bodies and squarish tails.These colorful, graceful birds are full of energy! Being flock birds, parakeets are very social with each other and with people. They love attention and make wonderful Pets.
